Imaginamálaga 2009. Author Disclosure Vilches Fantasy Award for The First Book Jade Flower Envoy. En Punto Radio Ninema
Comic
The Chamber held its V Malaga the last edition on October 21-25. I was fortunate enough to attend as a guest and to collect the prize in Fantastic Literature Author Disclosure by the 1st volume of the Jade Flower Saga, the envoy.
I had the great privilege of sharing the stage with award and some of the established and emerging talents most reputable in the industry. Among them Professor was the undisputed master of masters of the illustrators, Luis Royo, or a creator of dreams to which we must at least my generation, some of the icons of our childhood and adolescence: Mr Colin Arthur, master of special effects unforgettable films as The Neverending Story (I've been shooting with the original Fuyu this week in his studio in Madrid!) 8 th passenger Alien, Conan the Barbarian or Dragonheart. I have been reunited with renowned artists and Raul Cris Ortega Cáceres, Juan Ryp, Javier Trujillo or Jesus Barony.
Worlds Epic had a stand at the event and at the bottom of the canyon, fireproof was my editor and friend David Velasco (Neithel manuscripts) and our young author Manuel Fernandez Bueno (Echoes of Azurea). Special mention to their partner Mary and Aurora after the stand. They all worked like dogs in a contest, this, that in the mouth of the organizers has been by far the most emotional and taste better so far.
I personally was a big moment for me. It is the first public acknowledgment that my work gets done and it was in a room of my country, Andalusia and studded with people I love and admire not only just make it one of those moments in life essential. That was a Comic and therefore an unusual field of novel writers, even great (illustrators were a large majority, as expected) also had to consider this award even more special if possible.
addition, the moments lived, people known and shared experiences among those who were invited have left a deep impression on this writer, still too novel not to be impressed by these things.
I leave some of the snapshots that illustrate my pace and unforgettable experience for this room for too many reasons.
Great group photo, incomplete and all, with great number of guests and staff of the organization.

There are a hundred more I could show pictures and a hundred reasons to come back next year, but especially the people has been what has made an unforgettable comic lounge and special. Fantasy is more alive than ever, young designers have much to say. In Malaga we have realized this and have begun to say, thank you all.
A big hug to all who have made possible.
